This was supposed to be my last day in Tokyo. By this point, I was growing tired of the city. The only other thing that I wanted to do was make sure that all my shopping was done before going to Okinawa. I heard that there was good shopping in Roppongi, but I was wrong. Don’t get me wrong, there is good shopping in Roppongi, but it is all very boutique-y , mall-like shopping. That just isn’t my vibe. I love shopping at small, cozy looking stores. VIntage is my jam. I like going into a place where I know there is only one of that piece. Not 10 of the same thing in ill-fitting sizes.
Roppongi Hills Vibe is Off
Anyhow, I don’t have much to say about this place because I personally felt like it sucked. The vibe of Roppongi was kind of soulless. There was great architecture, but compared to all the other places that I had visited in Japan, this place was meh to the “nth” degree.
I’ll just throw up some photos of my amazing vintage Kimono and call it a post!
